Methodology
Every figure here is counted from the companies listed in the Hell of a Partner directory. We build that directory from public sources: national business registries, industry and trade-association directories, and export and trade-show listings. Before a company is added we check that its website is live, so dead and parked domains are left out. Counts are recomputed daily, so small day-to-day movement reflects new listings and removals.
A certification counts when the company profile lists it. These are self-declared by the company or its source registry, not audited by us. Because different sources record this field to different degrees, a certification share is only meaningful within one market, meaning one category and country. Please do not compare certification shares across countries: a higher share usually means that source recorded certifications more fully, not that the country certifies more.
Founding-year medians follow the same rule: only companies that list a founding year are counted (the with-founding-year count), and the figure is meaningful within one market, not as a cross-country comparison. Sources record this field unevenly, so read it as the age profile of the listed cohort, not of the national industry.

- Yes. All statistics on this page are free to cite and republish with attribution to Hell of a Partner and a link to https://hellofapartner.com/data. The data is computed from the live directory and refreshed daily.
- How is certification prevalence calculated?
- For each category and country combination, prevalence is the share of all publicly listed companies in that combination whose profile lists the certification. It is computed over the full population of the combination, not a sample.
- Are the certifications independently verified?
- No. A certification is shown when the company or its source registry lists it on the profile; we do not audit certifications. Because sources record this field to different degrees, certification shares are comparable within a single market only, not across countries.
