About

Backsberg is a fourth-generation Paarl family wine estate producing Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Klein Babylonstoren Pinotage alongside estate-pressed extra-virgin olive oil from Paarl valley groves. The estate was the first carbon-neutral winery in South Africa. Wines and olive oil are exported to wine and specialty food importers in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, and Scandinavia. IPW sustainability certified; WIETA ethical trade audited. Wholesale supply available in 750 ml, 1.5 litre, and 3-litre bag-in-box formats.
