Medine Distillery on the western coast of Mauritius has been producing rum from its own sugarcane estate since 1926. The distillery is home to the Penny Blue and Pink Pigeon rum brands, the latter developed in partnership with Berry Bros. & Rudd as the Indian Ocean Rum Company joint venture. Products are exported to the UK, Europe, the US and Australia.
